About the Author

Tim McMillian is a Bible teacher and writer with decades of experience in Christian ministry, biblical education, theology, discipleship, biblical counseling, and pastoral care. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies and Theology from Regent University and a Master of Divinity from Liberty University.

Tim formerly taught at Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta, California, and has served in pastoral ministry, discipleship, youth ministry, visitation and pastoral care, and local Bible teaching. These varied ministry experiences have shaped his desire to approach Scripture with both theological depth and practical application.

His biblical studies emphasize careful interpretation of Scripture within its grammatical, historical, literary, and theological contexts. His writing seeks to make serious biblical scholarship accessible through a clear, conversational style—serving pastors, Bible students, teachers, ministry leaders, and Christians who simply want to understand Scripture more deeply.

Theological Perspective

These studies are written from a conservative evangelical Christian perspective and generally reflect a dispensational, premillennial approach to biblical interpretation and prophecy, including a distinction between Israel and the Church and an emphasis on understanding biblical promises within their historical and grammatical contexts.

At the same time, readers from other Christian theological traditions are welcomed and encouraged to engage thoughtfully with the biblical texts, evidence, and arguments presented in each study. The purpose of these articles is not merely to advocate a theological system, but to examine Scripture carefully, consider differing interpretations fairly, and seek conclusions that are faithful to the biblical text.
